Sleeping six, Hafan is a family friendly self-catering home with a large, well-kept garden, patio, ample parking and half an acre of wild bracken hillside with open views over the village of Aberdaron to the Gwylan Islands and Cardigan Bay. It's just a three-minute walk down to the safe sandy beach and into the village.          Sorry, due to a family member having an allergy no pets are allowed and no smoking.

Aberdaron and the Llyn Peninsula is a stunning holiday location that offers plenty to keep the whole family entertained.  Hafan is within easy reach of the Llyns many beaches, including Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) and walkers will be spoilt for choice with the Welsh Coastal path just 100m away and the Snowdonia National Park within easy reach. Come and stay at our self-catering holiday cottage in Aberdaron and enjoy the best that Wales has to offer.

Here are a few extracts from past guest emails

We had such a lovely stay in Hafan. The house was spotlessly clean and the beds were especially comfy. There was plenty of space for the six of us staying over both floors with two bathrooms. The best thing about Hafan is the view from the large garden which is a great place to have a morning coffe or meals at the outside table. There's also a lovely hand carved 'linkstone' with a seating area towards the bottom of the garden. The house is perfectly situated to walk down to the beach or pubs/bakery in the village, or to explore further afield. We would recomend walking along the coast path to spot seabirds and dolphins. The house also has a utility area which is perfect for storing coats and boots. The indoor fire place is perfect for cosy evenings with a view out to sea. Cant wait to return!

Hi Neil, I just wanted to say we have had a wonderful week in Aberdaron. Thank you. Hafan  was a lovely place to stay. We managed to complete the path from Pwlleli to Nefyn so we are very happy with that. We were so lucky with the weather. And the Flecsi bus was a huge help in getting us to our starts. JB 2024

''I wanted to tell you that Hafan was the loveliest holiday cottage we had EVER  stayed in- hafan is a very good name for it indeed. The interior is really beautiful, the views are great and cosy Aberdaron was wonderful, too. We had great waves, glorious ice cream, we loved the local heron down at the bridges, we saw many seals and collected beautiful stones. We sat in the round of the compass and watched the meteors and listened to the sound of the sea. Unfortunately we couldn't go to Bardsey because of the harsh winds but I'm sure we will be back sometime if that's ok with you. Thanks for your hospitality and thanks to that "invisible" person who looked after us and took care of the bins.''

Your garden was a real gift; I could imagine how young kids would love to explore it - especially the steep hill through the bracken. Andthe different zones for enjoying the sun were really appreciated.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. It was so comfortable, in such a fantastic location, and so considerately equipped. We all loved it!

We so loved our time at this property. Brilliantly-positioned, immaculately clean and comfortable and everything there to make an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Neil and Sarah's house was exceptionally accommodating and accessible: close proximity to the village and its amenities (including a fabulous beach); superb views from the bedrooms and the lounge; a wonderful garden area and tons of parking for the family when they came to join us. The weather was exceptionally kind to us during that week but there is so much to do in the area if the sun doesn't always shine. We could not find fault with Hafan and are seriously thinking of an immediate re-booking, even though our policy is never to go to the same place twice. Coudn't recommend the place and its owners highly enough. Thank you!
