Welcome to Hafan, our family run holiday cottage overlooking picture postcard Aberdaron bay on the very tip of the Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping six, the holiday cottage has ample parking and is available from April through to October each year. Safely set back from the quiet Deunant road, it is a family friendly self-catering home with a large, well-kept garden, patio, half an acre of wild bracken hillside and open views over the village of Aberdaron to the Gwylan Islands and Cardigan Bay. It's just a three-minute walk down to the safe blue-flagged sandy beach and into the village. Connected with free broadband for 2018. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.
Using Hafan as your base, explore the 13th century Criccieth Castle or venture further around the coast to the stunning Harlech Castle to get your fill of culture. Those into sailing will love Pwllheli which is one of the finest yachting venues in Western Britain. While walkers and hikers will be spoilt for choice with the Snowdonia National Park literally on your doorstep. The Llyn Peninsula is a stunning holiday location that offers plenty to keep the whole family entertained. ''I wanted to tell you that Hafan was the loveliest holiday cottage we had EVER stayed in- hafan is a very good name for it indeed. The interior is really beautiful, the views are great and cosy Aberdaron was wonderful, too. We had great waves, glorious ice cream, we loved the local heron down at the bridges, we saw many seals and collected beautiful stones. We sat in the round of the compass and watched the meteors and listened to the sound of the sea. Unfortunately we couldn't go to Bardsey because of the harsh winds but I'm sure we will be back sometime if that's ok with you. Thanks for your hospitality and thanks to that "invisible" person who looked after us and took care of the bins.''

We had an absolutely fabulous week at Hafan and just wished we could have stayed longer. The house was beautiful. It was spotless, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The garden was perfect for the boys to play in, and for us to sit and relax in the sunchairs, looking out over the village and out to sea. It was a very quick, easy potter down into the village which had a shop, off-licence and bakery; a super byo fish and chip shop and a lovely beach which was great for playing football on. We spent a lot of time at Whistling Sands which was a five minute drive away and was totally dog free (great for us with small children and no dogs). We loved the squeeky sand, clear sea for swimming in and take away pizzas from the cafe! The owner was great with communication, answering all questions in a prompt and friendly manner and letting us know when the property was ready for us earlier than expected

We so loved our time at this property. Brilliantly-positioned, immaculately clean and comfortable and everything there to make an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Neil and Sarah's house was exceptionally accommodating and accessible: close proximity to the village and its amenities (including a fabulous beach); superb views from the bedrooms and the lounge; a wonderful garden area and tons of parking for the family when they came to join us. The weather was exceptionally kind to us during that week but there is so much to do in the area if the sun doesn't always shine. We could not find fault with Hafan and are seriously thinking of an immediate re-booking, even though our policy is never to go to the same place twice. Coudn't recommend the place and its owners highly enough. Thank you!
